we are about half way through the season. we have 9 teams with 2 or less wins and 9 teams with 2 or less loses.

the combined wins by the botton 9 teams is 11, in 66 tries. That is awful

And the Pack has lucked out to get 6 games against those on the bottom end.....meaning they just need to go 5-5 against the better teams to get to 11-5.

NFL Parity...
I don't pay much (read: don't pay any) attention to the NBA, but you can hardly avoid hearing about it on sports radio...
Anyways...
Speaking of parity...
Here is my simple thought on NBA parity...
Seems to be one team, LA Lakers, and then all the rest... as far as who you would bet on, on a ten year basis outlook...
LA up here and all the rest 10 miles below....
Is there any other team you would think has a recent tradition of expectation to be in the NBA finals?

Nope...I did not say that.  I believe I predicted 10-6 but thought 11-5 would not be a lot to ask.

Despite TT telling us all how great this team is....it has a lot of poblems and at this point AR looks the best out of anyone.  He has a lot of things to learn though as far as winning big games.

I guess were back to the QB is responsible for all wins and losses hey Padre???  I saw him on two occassions this weekend take the team right down the field and score only to have the special teams give the Vicking less than half a field to work on.  PLease explain to me how the QB is responsible for that???  This is a team that is lacking discipline not just penalties, but missed assignments, dropped balls poor play calling, terrible lane responsibilities.  Seams like a whole lot of problems doesn't??  The reality is they are all correctible and that will be determined by the head coach (not TT like you'd like to think).  there is a lot of talent on that team that is not playing up to potential, if and when this team does that they will be very good and then you will see just how good AR is.  If they do not then I think at the end of the season (and only the end) we look for a new coach (not a new GM).  But I understand for you the only forgiving grace would be for Favre to come back and play here.  Not going to happen!!!!  He will pull the old I'm gonna retire... no I want my job back...well maybe I'll retire.  Heck listening to you guys and his ego he might even go to the Lions to proove how good he really is!!! Rodgers marched down the field when Minnesota put in their cheerleaders to play DB for a quarter........Every reciever was WIDE open.  I could make those throws.  When it mattered, (1st half, 4th quarter) he was less than impressive.

Packers fans had a huge display of classlessness when they booed the man that poured himself out for GB for so many years.  Those who support that display should be ashamed of themselves.  The man didn't screw the Packers.  They gave him the boot.

You are clueless. Listen to Aikman, he knows what happened. Favre left with the intention of going to the Vikes. He was surprised they denied that and faked another retirement from the Jets.

Yes he's still good, probably very close with Rodgers each being better at certain aspects. I'm talking now, not 1996.

You are only looking at the point after the Packers gave him the boot.  Of course he wanted to play for the Vikings (knows the offense, coaches, they have Peterson) and once the Packers were done with him, revenge was on his mind.  So sue him.  Don't forget, BRETT FAVRE WANTED TO BE A PACKER! He retired, he waffled, he couldn't make up his mind, ect. ect. ect.  I understand that.  Fact is, this is the NFL and Brett was/is still capable of great things.  Arguably the best QB ever.  He just came off of a near Super Bowl run and a good statistical season.  Was he pressured into retiring early? Maybe.  Did he ever convince himself that he wanted to be retired?  I don't think so.  Is he blameless in the situation? Absolutely not.  In the end, Brett wanted to play football for the Green Bay Packers and they told him "no."  In an industry based upon men getting paid millions and millions of dollars to win football games, why would you tell this man no?  He was coming off a great year.  He showed no signs of being unable to win football games.  Large numbers of them even.

TT put all of his eggs in one basket when he drafted a QB in the first round of his first draft.  Rodgers was the best available player, no doubt, but that is a lot of dollars sitting on the bench for who knows how long.  Favre retired, pressured or not, and Rodgers was told it was now his team.  Favre wants to come back.  We have already looked at the man's credentials.  Basically the same team coming back to GB other than Favre and he wants to play again.  With all of the young talent on the team, why wouldn't you think that they could improve on that 13-3 record?  Instead, TT decided he had to play the hand that he dealt himself a few years earlier.  He decided to decline his best chance at winning in order to justify a move that was his first as GM.  You know what, I'm ok with that.  Totally fine with me.  Somehow, that has turned into being Brett's fault.  As I said before, he is far from blameless in the situation, but look at the black and white.  He was told to take a hike because TT wanted to justify himself and didn't want to hurt Rodgers' feelings.  I'd say, the move backfired.  Rodger's is a great QB in many aspects, but he is not a leader.  He is arrogant, self-seeking, and constantly looking out for number 1.  (Or number 12 in this case.)  He CAN be a great QB in the league, but he is proving that he can't win with the players that Brett had.  Not to mention these same players are now more experienced and presumably better than they were when Favre had them.

So I ask you; Is booing this man a noble act? Or perhaps one out of jealousy and anger that this man isn't on your side anymore?

You've lost all credebilty H.  You really think he had a master plan to go to the Vikings?  That is just plain stupid.  And so were Aikmans comments.    That is why it was not justified by his partner in the booth.
